FAQ'S

WHAT ARE THE APPOINTED DATES ?

What are the appointed dates? The Hebrew calendar is based on the lunar cycle. The first evening of the new moon of each cycle can be observed in the sky denoted the beginning of a new month of the Hebrew calendar. According to the Bible, new moons are also cause for celebration. The Three Pilgrimage Festivals, in Hebrew Shalosh Regalim (שלוש רגלים), are three major festivals of the ancient Hebrews Israelites (Obara Fawarala)—Pesach (Passover), Shavuot (Weeks or Pentecost), and Sukkot (Tabernacles, Tents or Booths)—when the ancient Israelites (Fawaralah) living in the Kingdom of Judah would make a pilgrimage to Tabernacle on Mt. Zion in Jerusalem, as commanded.

Ordainment of the Moon

The months in the sacred calendar are established as lunar months. Therefore the sighting of the new moon was ordained to establish the beginning of the monthly cycle and therefore the first day of the month. The moon's full cycle of illumination lasts a little over 29 days. Thus we have our biblical months of either 29 or 30 days.

The New Moon is a precise astronomical event and can occur on different days because of the rotation of the earth. The determination of the New Moon, therefore, must be determined from the time in which it occurs in Jerusalem (Arad) to ensure the uniformity of religious worship throughout the world, given increased communication.

This is based upon scripture which places Jerusalem as the throne of YHWY (Jeremiah 3:17), the centre-point of the Law which will be given under Messiah (Isaiah 2: 3) through the waters of the Spirit (Zechariah 8:22; 14:8-21). The Most High has placed His name there forever (2 Chronicles 33: 4). Before the time of modern calendars, the new moon was vitally important as it was the official announcement of when the new month had begun. Because YHWY gave commandment to observe the feasts and festivals in their given times, it was vital to keep accurate count of when the new month began (First site of the crescent moon) in order to celebrate the festivals correctly.

“YHWY spoke to Moses, saying: Speak to the children of Israel and say to them: YHWY’s appointed festivals that you are to designate as holy convocations — these are My appointed festivals.” (Leviticus 23:1-2) “These are the appointed festivals of YHWY ALLAH, the holy convocations, which you shall designate in their appropriate time.” (Leviticus 23:4).

The Most High is very clear that the festivals are to be celebrated, not because they are for man but because they are His appointed times. These festivals are holy, not because man makes them so, but because Yahweh Himself declares them holy. Since YHWY ALLAH is the One who instituted them, it is a reasonable act of worship and obedience to observe them which He designated. Also, the elders of Israel would confirm the sighting of the new moon based upon reliable witnesses and shofars were blown in accordance with the scripture to announce the beginning of the month.

WHAT ARE THE PROCEDURES FOR EACH FESTIVAL ?

What are the procedures for each festival? Tabernacles is indeed the last of the appointed feasts and concludes the festive calendar. As such, it anticipates the culmination of God’s purpose for Israel, the final fulfilment of God’s promises for and through that nation. To emphasise perfection and completion, it occurs in the seventh month, lasts for seven days and the number of its sacrifices are divisible by seven. Whereas the sacred number seven appeared at the Feast of Unleavened Bread only in the number of its days, and at Pentecost in the period [which must transpire before] its observance (7 x 7 days after Passover), the Feast of Tabernacles lasted seven days, took place when the seventh month was at its full height, and had the number seven impressed on its characteristic sacrifices.

Many people teach that this feast is done away with, that we should not keep Torah by returning to Zion or that this feast can be kept outside the land. You can never find one of the 3 feast kept outside of Jerusalem. Now that Jerusalem has been discovered we are ordered by the Hamashiach and YHWH to return to Torah and repent of our wicked ways and that the Torah as the Hamashiach was never done away with. Mathew 5:17-21. We are in mourning so were asking our people to wear black as the customs of our ancestors, the Hebrew Israelite, when they were mourning.
According to the Torah, every man over the age of twenty should bring a shekel to the tabernacle and be numbered on the 8th day. We keep the Feast of Taberrnacle according to what is written in Torah. We do not add or subtract. This is how you and everyman will be sealed by the Allahiem of Israel until there are 144,000 of male Israelites appearing in Zion before the return of Yehoshua Hamashiach.

Exo 30:11 And the YHWH spake unto Moses, saying,
Exo 30:12 When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the YHWH, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them.
Exo 30:13 This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the YHWH.
Exo 30:14 Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the YHWH.
Exo 30:15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the YHWH, to make an atonement for your souls.
Exo 30:16 And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the YHWH, to make an atonement for your souls.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE ATTENDING ?

What do I need to know before attending? This is not a vacation, I repeat this is not a vacation but a time for us to pray and show reverence to the Allahiem of Israel in Jerusalem. This is a time for our women to be mourning and groaning due to Jacob’s trouble that is approaching the sons and the men of Israel (Jeremiah 9:15-26). Our country Israel is occupied by foreigners and this invasion has been ordained by the El of Israel due to our whoredom as a nation. We are asking those who seek the face of Yah in Jerusalem to humble themselves and to focus on Zion and only Zion, showing repentance to The Most High. Why do we say this? We are familiar with the demons that are in this land. The demons that are here do not want you to prophecy by making this pilgrimage. The demons only want to bring confusion in our midst. We must return in peace and with a humble Ruach (This event will trigger Zechariah 8:20)

It is important to rest upon every Sabbath in Jerusalem and the High Qodesh Days. We are here to let. The Most High know that we are sorry and to show our repentance to him to His face (Zion). It doesn’t make any sense for any us to come back into Zion to spit in His face by violating his Sabbath. The Sabbath is a sign between Him and His people. We expect people to come into Zion with honour and respect. Our righteousness must exceed the gentiles. Also it is extremely important that we do not argue amongst our brethren, sisters, with the strangers, debate over doctrines because this is how the enemy seeks in and destroy us from within. Either do we want sister to discourage sisters, brethren, husbands and vice versa with the brethren. Most importantly we do not start our cars or get into our cars to take trips. We rest as it is written. The El of Israel is looking down upon us; remember we are in His face.
We are asking our people to have a dark or black garments for mourning purposes, while the rest of Israel is celebrating the feast outside of the land of Israel. We will be mourning during ours. Our people act as if it’s time to celebrate when the Most High has placed a decree on all of Israel to bring destruction. (Jacob Trouble. So why should we celebrate when we as a people are in such despair, our goal in Zion to have a time of repentance in our Holy Land.
